Jade
Studio Owner and Head Coach (Studio Mumma)
Jade is the very proud owner of Inverted Aerials. With over 15 years of experience in aerial arts and 12 years as both a coach and performer, she's had the privilege of working with a wide range of students and audiences across Australia. Jade's performance career has taken her to stages nationwide, including the honour of performing at the 2018 Commonwealth Games – a highlight in her journey as an aerialist.
At the heart of Jade's work is a deep passion for coaching. She is driven by the opportunity to help students unlock their potential, especially when they’re working toward skills they once believed were out of reach. For Jade, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone discover just how strong, capable, and talented they truly are. Through Inverted Aerials, her mission is to create a supportive and empowering environment where every student feels inspired to grow, challenge themselves, and celebrate their progress.
Jade's favourite apparatus (at the moment) is Silks. However she also loves lyra, and is more recently becoming quite fond of Hammock.
Zali
Coach
Zali first climbed into the air at six years old and never really came back down. Fourteen years later, after countless hours in the studio, performances, and plenty of upside-down adventures, she's thrilled to now be sharing her love of aerial with others. Having started as one of Jade's students, it's incredibly special to now be coaching alongside the person who first introduced her to aerial.
Her favourite apparatus is lyra, where she enjoys graceful movement, controlled transitions, and storytelling through choreography (although she has a soft spot for the occasional goofy routine too). She coaches both lyra and silks and loves helping students discover their own unique style in the air.
Nothing makes Zali happier than watching someone achieve a skill they've been working so hard for. Whether it's building strength, finding confidence, or simply having fun trying something new, she loves helping students realise they're capable of more than they imagined. Her goal is to make every class encouraging, welcoming, and full of little victories worth celebrating.

Monica
Senior Coach
Monica has over 12 years of experience in all things aerial, including a year of full-time professional aerial training and overseas training with world-renowned aerial artists. While she enjoys a variety of apparatuses, silks is her current favourite, with a particular love of spinning and splits. She also has a lot of love for hammock and lyra, enjoying the unique style and creativity each one offers.
As a coach, Monica is passionate about creating a fun and supportive environment where students feel safe to challenge themselves, build confidence, and celebrate every achievement. Monica loves coaching students of all levels and finds the most rewarding part of teaching is watching them grow, gain confidence, and discover what they are capable of.
Tamara
Coach
Tamara has been doing aerial for over 16 years, captivating audiences nationwide through both traditional circuses and contemporary productions. With extensive experience across all aerial apparatuses, personally, she is currently drawn to exploring the creative possibilities of Rope. Her passion for the industry extends beyond performance; she is also pursuing a double degree in Law and Business, with aspirations to work in the legal and developmental side of the arts sector.
Tamara is a dedicated teacher who finds immense joy in helping students flourish. She loves watching their confidence and self-belief grow, and is passionate about creating a safe, supportive environment where others can thrive.
The air is where Tamara feels most at home, a place she returns to recharge, create, and connect with her craft.

Kiara
Coach
Kiara (aka The Noodle) is an aerialist and prosthetics/makeup artist known for blending high-flying physicality with the surreal and cinematic. With over 7 years of aerial training—most passionately on the trapeze—Kiara brings a unique, bendy, and unconventional movement style to the air, shaped by a body that seems to defy logic ("hips are on backwards" is not just a metaphor).
Her performances are a fusion of physical storytelling and special effects, drawing from her background in prosthetics and makeup to create otherworldly characters and striking visual narratives. Whether she's twisting through the air or transforming her face and body, Kiara loves to blur the lines between circus and creature.
Over the last 5 years, she’s competed and placed in multiple national competitions.
If you’re into dreamlike movement, haunting visuals, and aerial performances that feel like they crawled out of a dark fairytale—you’re in the right place.
